Process:
Confirm the right counter → take a numbered ticket and wait → submit your application form → complete the procedure at the counter → receive your certificate / updated residence info.
What to bring:
Residence card, My Number card or notification, passport, and a personal seal (a signature is also accepted).
Note:
You must complete your move-in/move-out registration within 14 days of moving.
Certificates like the residence certificate (juminhyo) are usually valid for 3 months from issue.
Office hours and language support:
Government counters are usually open only on weekday daytime hours (roughly 9:00-17:00) — closed on weekends and holidays, so you may need to take time off work.
