Enrollment process:
- Ask about your school district at the ward office's education section → school interview/application → prepare school supplies → attend the entrance ceremony.
What to bring:
- Residence card, passport, residence certificate (to prove you live together), and vaccination records.
Note:
- Public compulsory education in Japan is strictly assigned by residential school district.
- You'll need to prepare school-specified items in advance, like a school bag, indoor shoes, and a lunch bag of the required size.
