Arrival, residence card renewal, status changes — handling immigration procedures in Japan.
Application process:
- Prepare your documents → go to the Immigration Bureau → submit your application → wait for a postcard notification → return to pick up your new residence card.
What to bring:
- Residence card, passport, application form, and supporting documents (employment, income, tax certificates, etc.).
Note:
- You can start your renewal application up to 3 months before your status expires.
- You must notify the Immigration Bureau within 14 days of changing your employer, address, or name.
